Robert Wuthnow (Ph.D., University of California, Berkeley) teaches
sociology of religion and cultural sociology and currently serves as chair of
the Sociology Department. He is the author of numerous books, including
America and the Challenges of Religious Diversity and After the Baby
Boomers: How Twenty- and Thirty-Somethings Are Shaping the Future of American
Religion. He has also edited a new edition of the Encyclopedia of
Politics and Religion. Currently he is directing a Lilly-funded project on
the global reach of Christian organizations in the United States.
